I recently read an article in the National Geographic Society Magazine, that really caught my eye. It shined a light on a very interesting tree that I found to be quite remarkable. It's quite amazing how this tree can live on the cusp of land and sea. How it can survive, like no other terrestrial plant in salt water. Its incredible ability to filter out all sorts of pollutants as well as providing home to all sorts of plants and animals. It was sad read about how these magical trees are being cut down in order to make room for shrimp aquaculture...
